These are the Strombergshyttan bowls I have. The bowls seem to be more rare than the vases and it is hard to find them at any price let alone hanging out for one as a bargain.

This is a "Straw" coloured optically moulded fruit bowl. Designed by Hugh Dunne Cooke or Gerda Stromberg in the 1930s, Elfverson catalogue pattern number E.389. A very plain but elgant and useful bowl, I do use this for its given purpose. Reference: The Journal of The Glass Association Journal Volume 8 2008, Page 46 Height: 2 inches Width: 12 inches |

This is an optically molded grey "Kraka" bowl with a foot, and a scalloped inverted rim. Designed by Hugh Dunne Cooke or Gerda Stromberg in the 1930s. This vase doesn't have a reference number but a name, Kraka. I have done a bit of googling to try and kind out what Kraka means, it's either a crow or a Kraka is a level 91 troll guarding Death Plateau. This is a "Straw" coloured optically moulded footed fruit bowl. Designed by Gerda Stromberg in the 1933-4, Strombergshyttan pattern number T65. This bowl doesn't quite fit with the patterns in the Elfverson and I was adivsed by the knowledgeable Admin of the Strombergshyttan Facebook Group that it was in the original hand drawn records he has. It probably was imported by Elfverson but only a single catalogue exists and that is a snap shot of what was being imported at that moment in time. Height: 5 inches Width: 12 inches |
