STROMBERGSHYTTAN TANKARDS

The Elfverson catalogue has three patterns of tankards that come in different colours and sizes and are all optically moulded.

Description, References and Size

This is an optically molded "Straw" tankard. Elfverson pattern number E.443. Designed by Hugh Dunne Cooke or Gerda Stromberg in the 1930s.

As per the Elfverson catalogue this is the half pint tankard. They do come in pint and pint and a half sizes too.

Like most of the vases this tankard, and the others here, has six vertical optical panels.

This is an optically molded "Straw" tankard with a black glass handle and foot. This Elfverson pattern is called "Lager Delhi". Designed by Hugh Dunne Cooke or Gerda Stromberg in the 1930s.

I believe this is the rarest of the tankards imported to the UK as the ones I have are the only ones I have seen.

This is an optically molded "Straw" tankard. Elfverson pattern number V.4. Designed by Hugh Dunne Cooke or Gerda Stromberg in the 1930s.

This glass pattern comes in 14oz and 32oz sizes, I don't know what this really means in actual size but this tankard is less than half a pint..

This is an optically molded "Elfverson Blue" tankard. Elfverson pattern number V.4. Designed by Hugh Dunne Cooke or Gerda Stromberg in the 1930s.

Most of the Strombergshyttan glass imported to the UK seems to be the Straw colour, and this is the only non-Straw tankard I have seen.
